Raw seafood collected from finishing harbours is brought in insulated vehicles to the raw material receiving section of the factory. Bacteriological and organoleptic inspection is carried out by the quality control section to ensure the acceptability of the material for production
After approval for production the raw material is washed and brought to the re-processing unit. The material is pre-processed as per the requirement, graded, weighed, washed and brought to the processing section where it gets checked thoroughly, weighed, glazed, filled in poly bags and made ready for freezing at -40 C. After freezing, the product is packed and labelled accordingly and kept in the cold store at -20 C. Daily organoleptic & bacteriological inspection is carried out on the finished products. After ensuring the products meets all parameters of export worthy products, they are shipped in refrigerated containers pre-cooled at -18 C.
We have cold storage facilities with imported units of 500 metric tons capacity to maintain freshness and quality of seafood. We ensure to keep it at controlled temperature level so that our products retain their taste & nutrients along with the freshness.
